Hi, my name is Krister Axel. I am a roots-rock veteran of the indie music scene, and I have a degree in Poetry. I am a published lyricist, composer, and songwriter. I started playing piano in White Plains, New York because our black upright piano fascinated me and my sisters hated their piano lessons. That was in the 80's and I have never stopped writing songs.
